- Project and upgrades following
Whilst living in Joburg we acquired a home on the Heads with the intention of retiring to Knysna in a few years’ time. On the recommendation of Frankenfeld & King Architects, we engaged Tusker to carry out an extensive renovation, which almost involved a complete demolition of the existing house. We were concerned about being 1,200 km away and not able to monitor progress first hand, but as it turned out these fears were completely unfounded. Brett and Johan are true professionals – detailed planning, timeous procurement, skilled artisans and regular reporting – resulted in the job being completed on time, within budget and to a high quality standard.
As with most building
projects there are always a few items on the snag list and, to Tusker’s
credit, there was never any hesitation on their part to sort them out.
Subsequently we have had them back for one or two changes and additions,
which were attended to promptly and to the same quality standard. Tusker
is a reliable contractor and we have, and will continue to recommend
them to others who are looking to undertake home projects.
